New Zealand: the essential landscape - a knockout of a book !

Rob Brown is one of New Zealand’s leading landscape photographers and writers. For nearly two decades he has been hauling his bulky and heavy large-format camera all over the wild parts of New Zealand.
His journeying has also enabled him to set his tripod up in a breathtaking range of New Zealand’s most beautiful and spectacular places, returning time and time again until he has produced an image that captures the essence of these landscapes that so inspire him. A committed conservationist, Rob Brown’s belief in the ability of the natural world to enrich the human spirit shines out through his photographs. He is clearly one of the finest landscape photographers working in this country, and New Zealand: the essential landscape is a superb insight into the elegance and strength of his work.
It is no exaggeration on my part to describe his latest book as utterly gorgeous and I suspect many a copy will be winging its way overseas as Christmas gifts to ex-pat Kiwis.

This beautifully produced hardback title, (see a selection of photos below-I can't do justice to Brown's photos but they will give you something of a feel) is available in dual edition formats – Large deluxe edition RRP $49.99 (a steal and available now), and Pocket RRP $19.99 although note though that publication date of the Pocket edition is 1 October.
