WHAT A FESTIVAL! Bouquets all round.

The 2015 Auckland Writers Festival worked its magic. It picked us up, wrapped us in a cloak of literary, linguistic and pensive finery, then planted us back into today, richer and fuller for the experience.

Wasn't it GREAT! In its 15th year, #AWF15 broke all records: filling more than 60,000 seats over five days with more writers and more events than ever.

Auckland Writers Festival director Anne O’Brien says there is no greater sign of the health of this country’s books and writing culture than this stunning outcome.

We were proud and humbled by UK Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy's comment: "I think you have one of the world's best festival's here. I feel honoured to be part of it."
